Modular and Integrated Mission Payloads
CACI’s multi-mission payload technologies enable a hyper-connected battlefield grid of sensors and converged effects. Our experts in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), electronic warfare (EW), signals intelligence (SIGINT), and cyber optimize platforms with electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensors and multi-mission EW payloads – helping customers sense, listen, jam, communicate, and apply cross-domain effects.
Modular and Integrated Mission Payloads
CACI’s low-size, weight, and power (SWaP), ISR, EW, and cyber multi-mission payloads provide real-time situational awareness and targeting information, direction-finding, geolocation, and active cyber effects against adversary radio frequency (RF) emitters. Our low-SWaP imaging systems and sensors are also deployed with customer systems around the world, enhancing aerial ISR collection, disaster response, border protection, force protection, law enforcement, and other vital mission needs.
CACI’s mission-experienced EW, cyber, and SIGINT technical talent has an extensive background in designing and rapidly fielding unique solutions that enhance performance and operational capability. Our team’s expertise in collection, processing, exploitation, and electronic attack (EA) of adversary signals of interest (SOIs) enables customers to deliver enhanced effects in the most challenging environments. As adversaries build new multi-domain capabilities, our experts help customers field new payload capabilities that extend the reach, speed, and lethality of tactical engagements. CACI’s mission payload innovations deliver enhanced effects that extend the range of manned and unmanned aerial platforms that can see, engage, degrade, and destroy targets outside the traditional range of enemy air defenses. Our system-of-systems approach delivers capabilities such as:
- EO/IR sensing
- Onboard digital signal processing
- Passive direction finding and geolocation
- Real-time RF survey and passive collection
- EA and electronic support (ES)
- Cyber effects for very high frequency (VHF), ultra-high frequency (UHF), L-Band, S-Band, and others
CACI’s sensor and effects payload technologies help our customers enhance the survivability of platforms, better identify threats, improve targeting of adversary nodes and SOIs, and deliver active cyber effects. These SWaP modular solutions provide scalable EW/ISR/cyber capabilities that enhance awareness and deliver more lethal effects against adversaries.
Some of these technologies include:
EO/IR Sensor Payloads
CACI’s multi-sensor gyro-stabilized imaging systems deliver reliable performance for mobile and fixed platforms such as unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, and others. Our proven payloads, such as the seven-sensor CM234 and CM62 Micro Gimbal, offer multiple configurations, the highest performance for the lowest SWaP, onboard video processing, and more.
Spectral Sieve EW/ISR Payload
CACI’s Spectral Sieve is a real-time, multi-function, passive, single- and multi-platform RF direction finding/geolocation for tactical UAS operations and ground-based applications. Key capabilities include passive direction finding and geolocation of RF signals as well as automated detection, processing, and modulation classification. Spectral Sieve supports small operational units that do not have access to networked capabilities as well as larger teams with access to higher-echelon assets.
Pit Viper
Pit Viper-Air is a modular payload-compliant technology designed for ES, EA, and cyber missions on airborne platforms. This low-SWaP payload provides users with host hardware that enables new concepts of operation out to the tactical edge and delivers capability such as real-time RF survey, passive collection, and a range of cyber effects for VHF, UHF, L-Band, and S-Band frequencies.
Bumblebee
CACI’s Bumblebee is an intelligent, high-performance, wideband microwave radio receiver that enables small UAS to perform wideband passive RF surveys of operational environments, as well as carry out data collection and mission planning tasks. Bumblebee can preplan missions for autonomous operation, survey areas of interest, collect data, and return to base for data analysis.
