Maritime Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UxS) Solutions
CACI’s C-UxS experts have developed and matured a range of solutions that detect, identify, geolocate, track, and mitigate the most sophisticated air and surface unmanned threats to naval and maritime assets. With a track record of proven performance against unmanned threats to personnel, units, and facilities, our experts have engineered technologies and solutions built around interoperable form factors. These capabilities can be used against a wide range of threats and systems, such as Group 1-5 unmanned aircraft system (UAS) threats, surface threats, and more.
Our C-UxS experts have developed and matured key electronic warfare (EW) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) radio frequency systems that support detection, identification, and mitigation capabilities for the maritime environment. CACI's maritime C-UxS solutions draw on our deep experience in geolocating unmanned threats and securely connect to shipboard combat systems, radars, tip and queue systems, and other interfaces. Using open system architecture, we integrate capabilities into existing and future command and control (C2) systems and rapidly adapt to threats using our ever-expanding signals and threat library – the largest collection of UxS threat signals in the world.
CACI’s maritime C-UxS technologies are operationally proven and effectively geolocate unmanned maritime threats to personnel, units, and facilities of all types. With long- and short-range non-kinetic, non-attributable electronic attack (EA) and defense, our modular and scalable C-UxS technology is tailorable – from limited operations to wide-area defense. Our C-UxS experts engineer secure technologies that rapidly connect and interoperate with shipboard combat systems and keep marinization and sustainment costs to a minimum. Our intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and dynamic threat library, which expands in real time to stay ahead of threats, streamlines training and exercising of new concepts of operation and tactics. CACI’s open system architecture approach enables us to integrate our form factors and capabilities into current command and control systems as well as new systems – building a responsive, shared situational awareness picture that supports a full range of distributed maritime operations.
Our maritime C-UxS capabilities deliver remote attack while providing rapid, responsive force protection in hostile environments. These form factors include:
BEAM™
BEAM’s mounted or dismounted advanced EA system can defeat small, complex UxS quickly and effectively, and delivers a rapid, responsive force protection capability for hostile maritime environments. BEAM is the smallest man-packable advanced EA system with the longest range currently available to our customers. It surveys the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) to enable deployed forces to counter UAS and UxS and their corresponding digital or analog video signals, and can operate autonomously or paired with other BEAM units to deliver distributed attack.
CORIAN®
The CORIAN system provides fixed facility and infrastructure protection against unmanned threats. CORIAN detects, tracks, and mitigates UAS threats using precision neutralization techniques that ensure little to no collateral damage or impact to surrounding RF spectrum and existing communications.
CACI Maritime C-UAS – Outsmarting a Growing Threat
In this trending article, learn how UAS and small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) threats are rapidly proliferating around the world – posing a threat to maritime surface and subsurface forces. At CACI, our experts are developing and deploying systems and sensors that can detect, identify, locate, disrupt, degrade, deny, capture, or tip and cue UAS threats from ship to shore.
