Mark has 33 years in Law Enforcement, including 25 years at the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
During his career in law enforcement, he developed mental health issues and has become an advocate for First Responder mental health and suicide prevention. He has been a keynote speaker nationally and internationally at several conferences.

Melissa was the first Human Trafficking Navigator hired for North Dakota and the first victim/witness specialist for the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
She has been a member of the North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force since 2016, is currently the co-chair for the Lived Experience Subcommittee, and was the vice chair of the Labor Trafficking Subcommittee for six years.
