Southwest Asia Commercialization (SWA) Project
This task integrated the SWA Commercialization suite of equipment inside a set of four ISO shelters. The equipment included
- A Promina 800 multiplexer
- REDCOM five-shelf HDX 800-line telephone switch
- Four TCTC-II modules
- A data package consisting of a SIPR, NIPR and CENTRIXS enclave
Two additional ISO shelters included with this system provided additional living space for the operators.
CACI provided component level testing for the equipment, mounted the equipment in the racks provided in the shelters, interconnected the equipment and assisted in the system-level testing once integration was complete.
Signal Entry Panels (SEPs) were fabricated and installed in some of the shelters to provide an entry point for signals carried over T-1, coax and fiber.
This system is used in Iraq and SWA in support of the USMC.
