UK CACI continues several interlocking initiatives

  • Profiling online consumers, expanding customer relationship management (CRM) services
    We have launched the UK's first consumer classification of Internet behavior - eTypesTM. Using eTypes and our existing strengths in CRM we offer consulting and data and modeling services to dot coms and "e-tailers" to help them understand, value and manage customer relationships in the new online world.
  • Channel management consulting and modeling
    For retailers with both bricks and mortar stores and an Internet or other direct channel to market we offer channel management consulting and modeling. This utilizes our strengths in both CRM and spatial modeling (e.g., where to site stores to maximize sales). We help our clients understand which consumers will want to buy which products through which channels (in store, over the Internet, by mail or phone) and model the interaction between these alternatives.
  • Developing data content for websites
    We sell CACI demographic data for use as content on websites (e.g., property sites where prospective house purchasers want background information on neighborhoods).
  • Territory planning software
    We focus on software that helps clients decide on the number of field sales people they need and then plan their territories. Research has shown that 42% of a typical sales person's day is spent driving. CACI helps clients set an effective call strategy to ensure that time and effort is focused on those customers or prospects likely to provide the greatest return. CACI's software (InSite FieldForce and InSite ServiceForce) has the ability to optimize territories automatically within minutes to meet clients' exact requirements. This is the software that our consultants use to carry out reorganization projects, but it can also be supplied for in-house use.

MSG UK continues to enhance its ACORN® consumer classification product to meet the increasing need for precision marketing and more accurate targeting. The latest version combines the places where people live with their underlying lifestyle and demographic characteristics. ACORN covers every street in the United Kingdom and classifies the entire population in postal code level detail.
