CACI is founded in 1962 by two pioneers during a formative period of the computer industry: Herb Karr and Harry Markowitz.
Karr and Markowitz wins CACI’s first contract in 1963 to research and simulate inventory operations for the U.S. Navy’s Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg, PA.
CACI converts from a private company to a publicly held corporation on August 15, 1968.
In 1983, CACI's revenue tops $100 million for the first time, nearly doubling in two years.
Under the leadership of Dr. J.P. "Jack" London, the company generates $1 billion in revenue for the first time in 2004.
